Accra, Nov. 7, GNA - Covenant House of Faith Ministry, a Klagon-Accra based Church, has launched the fifth edition of its Holy Ghost Campaign programme dubbed ‘Thirsty 2019.’
Thirsty is an annual gathering of believers who are not just seeking for the things of God but ultimately desiring to have and establish continuous intimacy with God.
The head Pastor of the church, Pastor Stephen Tetteh Oyimer, disclosed that the month-long campaign, Thirsty 2019, is slated to start on Sunday November 10, to Sunday December 8, 2019 at the church premises at Vulganizer, Klagon on the Lashibi-Ashaiman road.
He expressed concern about the rate at which the values, teachings and principles governing the walk with God outlined in the Bible were gradually being relegated to the background by this 21st century generation.
“This is why we are not seeing the manifestations of the power and the glory of God in this generation,” he noted.
According to Pastor Oyimer, the only means to address this issue was for believers to go back to the Bible and do the needful of obedience of intentionally abiding in unbroken contact with Christ in a fellowship of intimate love.
He admonished the church to rise and allow the leadings of the Holy Ghost to be paramount in their lives for maximum manifestation of the purpose and good intentions of God for their lives.
He also advised the youth in the country to be circumspect in whatever they did, saying, “Desiring cars, mansions, money, lands among other things is good but the ultimate should be the thirst for God in these last days.
Apostle Joshua Amissah, the Guest Preacher at the launch, said everyone must thirst for the Holy Ghost because this was the dispensation of the manifestation of the Holy Ghost.
“Your thirst cannot be quenched with anything whether sweet or bitter except water (Holy Ghost),” he stated.
Apostle Amissah also admonished the generation to be thirsty to experience the seven dimensions of the Holy Ghost; the mist, the dew, the well, the sea, the rain, the river and the water above and beneath.
He then unveiled thirsty 2019.
The speakers for Thirsty 2019 include Prophet Andrews Tetteh, Pastor Kafui Ntow, Rev. Nii Laryea Botchway, Prophet Godibert Gharbin, Prophet Ebenezer Ako-Nai, the host Pastor Stehpen Tetteh Oyimer among others.
Pastor Oyimer implored Ghanaians to join the church for the Thirsty 2019 campaign.
