Accra, Dec. 17, GNA - Voting at the Social Welfare of the La-Nkwantang/Madina District Assemly polling station started at 0713 hours due to lack of tables for Electoral Commission Officers.
Mr Kwabena Twumasi, the Presiding Officer at the polling station said the only challenge the station faced was the tables, which he had to acquire from the Madina Social Welfare Vocational Institute
He said the voting was expected to be smooth without any challenge as all materials needed for the election arrived within time.
He said 791 voters are expected to cast votes in the Madina Station 1(A) of the polling station.
As at the time of the filing this story, voting was moving on smoothly at the four polling stations visited at the La-Nkwantang/Madina District, Social Welfare North Unit and Electoral Area.
