The Regional Minister added that the old Regional Hospital was downgraded to a Municipal Hospital to pave way for the accreditation of the new facility as a regional hospital.
He said he held discussions with the Director General of the Ghana Health Service to facilitate processes towards securing the needed logistics including; vehicles and ambulance and the seed capital for the facility to be operational.
He hoped that the new Regional Hospital would be operational before January 2020.
