Ghana chasing FIFA for over status of Barnsley defender Andy Yiadom
The Ghana Football Association is waiting for FIFA's ratification to use England-born Andy Yiadom for next week's 2018 World Cup qualifier against Egypt.
The 24-year-old has already featured for the England national football C team which represents the Three Lions at non-league level.
Yiadom, who plays for Barnsley in the Championship, was named in Avram Grant's 23-man squad for the must-win encounter in Alexandria.
A Ghana Football Association statement read: ''Portugal-based midfielder Alhassan Wakaso and defender Andy Yiadom of English Championship side Barnsley were handed their first Black Stars call-ups for the game on 13 November.
