2018 World Cup: Egypt suffer winger Mostafa Fathi blow ahead of Ghana clash

Egypt have suffered a major injury blow aswinger Mostafa Fathi has been ruled out of next week's 2018 World Cup qualifying clash against Ghana because of injury. The Zamalek winger was part of the 23-man squad released by coach Hector Cuper to face the Black Stars on 13 November in Alexandria. Fathi has now been withdrawn from the squad following a knee injury he suffered while training with Cairo side Zamalek. "Fathi will not be able to feature against Ghana because of his injury.
