Former Ghana youth international Asiedu Attobrah has reiterated his desire to play in the South Africa Premier Soccer League (PSL).
The 22-year old is currently without a club after he rescinded his contract with Belgian side K.V Kortrijk last year.
According to reports, the talented midfielder almost joined South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns after training with the club but failed to land a deal.
“I want to play in South Africa. I am a free player. I played in Belgium for KV Kortrijk. I have also played with the Ghana national U20 team in Africa and in the World Cup,” said Attobrah in issue 1014 of the Soccer Laduma newspaper.
The midfielder’s former club in Ghana, New Edubiase United, hindered the proposed move for him to join Downs in 2013, according to the player.
“My club in Ghana never allowed me to sign for Sundowns,” Attobrah confirmed.
Attobrah was with the Ghana U20 team that participated in the World Youth Championship in New Zealand in 2015.
