Ghana Footballl Association president Kwesi Nyantakyi had a raucous reception at the Kotoka International Airpot on his return home after his re-election onto the FIFA Council.
Nyantakyi and his delegation from the CAF General Assembly was met at the by members of the GFA Executive Committee, as well as some key football officials.
On Thursday in Ethiopia, Nyantakyi was re-elected for a full, four-year term on the FIFA Council by securing 33 votes, 13 more than his opponent Leodegar Tenga, who got 20 votes.
