Bechem United chairman Kingsley Osei-Bonsu has thrown his weight behind GFA Vice President George Afriyie to occupy the Ghana FA hot seat when President Kwesi Nyantakyi's tenure expires in 2019.
Last week, the incumbent President of the nation's football governing body, Kwesi Nyantakyi declared on Accra-based radio station Joy FM that he'll not seek re-election when his tenure in office elapses in 2019..
Several football administrators have expressed their desire to occupy the seat, however, the veteran football administrator has endorsed George Afriyie is his idle candidate for the job should he fancy the position in 2019.
“Personally I think George Afriyie is the right man for the job and once he declares his intentions to contest for the elections in 2019 there’s no way I’m not supporting him,” he told Accra-based Asempa FM.
