FIFA President Gianni Infantino wishes Ghana FA chief Happy Birthday

FIFA President Gianni Infantino has wished Ghana Football Association President, Kwesi Nyantakyi who turns 49 today a happy birthday.

In a message sent to Nyantakyi, Mr Infantino noted that " On this very special day, allow me to extend my warmest wishes to you for Iots of Iuck, happiness, good health and success in the year to come.  l sincerely hope that you will have a wonderful day with your colleagues of the FIFA Council here in Kolkata, on the eve of the final of the FIFA U-l 7 World Cup India 2017. Many happy returns of the day and kind personal regards"

Nyantakyi has been the head of the local governing body since 2005.  He has chalked modest successes since he replaced Dr Nyaho Tamakloe.

The astute lawyer has risen through the ranks quickly, winning a seat on the powerful 34-man FIFA Council.  He is the 1st vice-president of CAF and serves as the President of WAFU B.
