Kumasi Asante Kotoko held their first training session in Tamale ahead of the historic FA Cup final clash with Accra Hearts of Oak at the Northern School of Business (NOBISCO) Park on Friday afternoon.
Twenty players trained at the NOBISCO Park led by skipper Amos Frimpong and deputy Eric Donkor.
Striker Sadick Adams and midfielder Jackson Owusu were given special exercises after the general session.
Goalkeepers Felix Annan and Ernest Sowah were also given specific goalkeeping exercises with the entire team crowning their session with set pieces.
The Porcupine Warriors will train at the Tamale Sports Stadium on Saturday afternoon for an hour per the regulations of the FA Cup Committee.
That session will be preceded by a morning session by Hearts of Oak at the stadium.
Both sides will be clashing in the finals of the 2017 MTN FA Cup for the first time outside their traditional home grounds.
