Ghana and TP Mazembe midfielder Daniel Nii Adjei has reckoned the tough challenge of facing South African side SuperSport United in the CAF Confederations Cup final.
TP Mazembe, who are holders of the prestigious cup qualified for the final for the African Confederation Cup final after a 0-0 tie against Morocco's FUS Rabat.
The Lubumbashi-based side advanced on an aggregate score of 1-0 from two legs in the run to defend their title against SuperSport United who advanced at the expense of Tunisian giants Club African last weekend.
The final will be the third time both clubs are meeting each other this year following their clashes in the group stages, where TP Mazembe recorded a goalless draw game in South Africa before playing out a pulsating 2-2 draw in DR Congo in the return encounter.
According to Nii Adjei, Eric Tinkler's side are a tough team to crack but is optimistic of his side coming out as victors on the day.
"Our opponent is a very formidable side, we both qualify from the same group D, SuperSports United have a good away records but we will handle them," Nii Adjei told Happy FM.
TP Mazembe is having a two weeks camping at the Football Centre de Maamoura in Rabat, Morocco. The team has line up three friendly matches to sharpen the rough edges before the much anticipated clash.
Mazembe, the second most successful club in CAF competitions with 10 titles, host the first leg on November 19 in Lubumbashi with the return match a week later in Pretoria.
