Alhassan Wakaso gutted after 3-1 defeat to Benfica in the Portuguese League

Vitoria Guimaraes midfielder Alhassan Wakaso has revealed his disappointment after his team came out 3-1 losers against Benfica in the Portuguese League.

Goals from Jonas, Andreas Samaras, and Eduardo Antonio gave Benfica a 3-0 lead before Rafael Martins scored a face-saving goal for the home side.

Alhassan was an unused substitute says the defeat left him disappointed.

“It was disappointing to lose the way we did but we have to continue working hard,” Wakaso said

“It been very difficult few weeks but we have to continue because the team has quality.”
