Newcastle United winger Christian Atsu is now a major doubt against Manchester United after picking up an injury while on international duty with Ghana.
The 25-year-old pulled out of training with what appears a thigh strain on Wednesday as fitness concerns grow over the Ghanaian.
However, the Ghana FA has confirmed the former Bournemouth man won't be available for the dead-rubber clash against the seven-time African champions with a muscle tear.

Ghana are already out of the World Cup reckoning after a dismal qualifying campaign, their hopes finally ended in October with one game still to play.
This means the speedster is now a major doubt for his side's English Premier League game against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
It's unclear how manager Rafa Benitez will react to the latest situation after the winger appears to have rejected claims of injury by traveling to his native country.
