Renaissance Sportive de Berkane forward Ayoub El Kaabi netted again for Morocco in their 2-0 win over Namibia in the quarter final of the ongoing Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) to become the player with most goals in a single edition since its inception in 2009.
The 24-year-old's first half strike produced CHAN history as he took his tournament tally to six goals, bettering the previous record of five goals held by Zambian Given Singuluma, in the first edition nine years ago.
El Kaabi has two more chances to increase his tally, in the semi-final clash against Libya which would be followed by either the final or a third-place play-off.
