The Week Two of the 2018 Amputee Football League continued at the Kotobabi Wembley Sports Complex on Saturday, May 12.
All eight teams reported and were battle ready with their crutches under the scorching sun.
The first game started exactly 9am between the Lions of the Central Region Gye Nyame Amputee football club and Amugisco FC from the Eastern Region - where the match ended 6-0 in favor of Gye Nyame, who last week thump Ayawaso 9-1.
The second game of the afternoon involving Global Amputee football and Ayawaso Amputee football club ended 3-0 in favour of the former, which means Ayawaso are yet to pic a point in the campaign.
The Asanteman FC lost 1-0 to Our Hope Amputee football club in the third game while the final match between Kumasi Kum Apim FC and Koforidua Efsa ended 5-0 for the latter.
The General Secretary of the Ghana Amputee Football League Board, Mr Philip Richster encouraged the player to work more harder as the league becoming more competitive.
Speaking about sponsorship, he noted that no organization has come on board to sponsor yet but sponsorship letters has gone out to them.
Meanwhile, two supporters Unions came to cheer the teams up.
