Ghanaian journalist Rahman Osman is the only African to be featured in the highly talked about Mohammed Salah documentary that is currently airing in the United Kingdom on Channel 4.
The hardworking Ghanaian journalist shares the screens with some of the most celebrated names in world football in the documentary that goes back to look at Mo Salah’s humble beginnings and the incredible season that has shot him to football’s highest echelons.
Despite the documentary featuring the likes of Gary Lineker, Ian Rush, Steven Gerard and Frank Lampard, the young Ghanaian journalist is seen is seen as one of the leading contributors in the documentary that has been on the airwaves this week leading to this weekend’s Champions League final in Kiev.
Rahman is regarded by many as one of Africa emerging football hackers and has backed his rise with world-class content in recent times in the highly difficult to penetrate English media.
His works have been published in some of the Uk’s leading media houses including the mirror.co.uk and the independent.co.uk and he is a man in demand across the African continent and in Europe.
Currently studying international and multimedia journalism at the famed University of Westminster in London, the Ghanaian journalist has already bagged top class interviews with some of the leading footballers from the African continent including the current best player in England Mohammed Salah, Atletico Madrid’s midfielder Thomas Partey and former France and Chelsea midfielder William Gallas just to mention a few.
His recent inclusion as the only African on Channel 4’s documentary is proof of his rising status as one of the leading recognized African football writers in Europe.
Before leaving for studies abroad he was working with Ghana’s leading English radio station Citi fm and is also one of the senior writers for Ghana and West Africa’s leading football news website GHANAsoccernet.com.
