Hot-in-demand Ghanaian midfielder Joseph Painstil has emerged on the radar of German giants FC Cologne who are interested in signing the youngster.
The 20 year old has been outstanding for Hungarian club Ferencváros, where he scored 10 goals from 27 appearances since joining the club from Ghanaian side Tema Youth.
According to reports in Germany, FC Cologne are in a hunt for the successor of Leonardo Bittencourt who joined TSG Hoffeihiem and the club sees Joseph Painstil as an ideal replecement.
Painstil's performances has made him a wanted man ahead of the summer transfer window, as clubs from Germany, England and Belgium all interested in getting his signature.
The Tema Youth loanee has aroused the interest of several Belgian clubs, including top clubs RSC Anderlecht, Bruges and KRC Genk. English side Southampton are also monitoring the Ghanaian.
The youngster has been a key member of the Ferencvaros side who lie second on the Hungarian league table, just two points behind Videoton.
