Ghana defender Kassim Adams could realize his dream of joining TSG Hoffenheim as he is expected to undergo a medical at the club today ahead of his imminent move.
The 23-year-old defender played an instrumental role for Young Boys as they clinched their first league trophy in 32 years.
The Ghana international's performance attracted several interests from clubs across Europe but it was reported that German Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim are leading the chase for his signature after verbally agreeing to join them in the summer.
Technical director of the Berne-based outfit Christoph Spycher exhibited his reluctance to release the Ghanaian to the German side despite signing defender Mohamed Aly Camara as his replacement.
However, after weeks of pleading with the club to allow him join Die Kraichgauer, reports indicate that Young Boys have approved the deal and is reported to be in the region of €8m + €2m in bonuses.
Adams is expected to undergo a routine medical today before finalizing the deal tomorrow if everything goes as planned.
He made 32 appearances and scored two goals in the Swiss Super League for the Berne-based outfit last campaign.
