Reading defender Andy Yiadom hopes he's done enough over the summer to play a part against Derby County in the English Championship opener on Friday.
The 26-year-old joined the Royals from Barnsley on a four-year deal in May this year.
The Ghana international has been involved in the side's pre-season where they failed to win a single game.
And he hopes to have done enough to convince manager Paul Clement of his qualities ahead of their league clash against Derby County at the Madejski Stadium on Friday.
"At the end of the day it’s the Gaffer’s decision," stated Yiadom.
"You know I’ve come in and I’m working every day to improve.
"We know Derby, they always put out a strong team, and they’re a really strong side. So we go into next week and we will focus on what we’ve got to do for Friday.
