Chelsea manager Maurizzio Sarri has been full of praise for Ghanaian youngster Calum Hudson-Odoi, saying the 17 year old will be a part of his plans for the upcoming campaign.
The teenager was in amazing form against Arsenal in the International Champions Cup in Dublin on Wednesday night, and won a penalty which was missed by Spain forward Alvaro Morata.
The England U-17 World Cup winner's performance in preseason has been very impressive, prompting the Italian manager to revise his scripts on the youngster.
"Hudson-Odoi is a very young player. We have to wait," he told reporters after the game.
"In the future he will be a very, very strong player for sure. He will stay with us [in the first team] for the season."
Petr Cech saved penalties in normal time and in a shootout as Arsenal beat his old club Chelsea.
The Gunners' keeper denied Alvaro Morata from the spot in the first half as the Blues dominated, with Antonio Rudiger heading them in front.
Arsenal improved after the break and Alexandre Lacazette equalised with 17 seconds left to earn a shootout.
Both sides scored their first five, but Cech saved from Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
Chelsea will next face Manchester City on Sunday in the Community Shield.
