Ghanaian winger David Atanga is set to return for Greuther Fürth in their game against MSV Duisburg after an injury scare on Sunday.
The former Black Satellites midfielder walked off the weekend's game in the Bundesliga II against Padderborn following a minor bruise.
The winger, who is on-loan from Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg has gradually won his way into the first team of Greuther Fürth and is expected to help the club gain promotion.
Atanga joined Red Bull Salzburg academy in 2014. In June 2015, Atanga signed new five-year deal with the club. On 25 July, he made his first-team debut for Red Bull Salzburg.
However, with first time football limited with Red Bull, he went on to play for Mattersburg and St Polten on loan.
I was walked off the pitch just after 17 minutes in our game on Saturday, but thanks be to God am okay.
Its just a minor bruise, I hope to return more stronger and with more GOALS and Assists. #ADD20 #kleeblatt pic.twitter.com/IBaLuOXr57
