Striker Emmanuel Boateng played his first competitive match of the season on Sunday and proved an assist in Levante's 2-2 draw with Valencia at home.
The Ghana striker, who has recovered from a knee injury he suffered in pre-season, walked straight into starting line-up of head coach Paco Lopez.
Boateng's shot at goal was parried back into play by Valenica goalkeeper and Roger Marti was around to connect home for the opening goal.
He lasted 69 minutes and was replaced by countryman Raphael Dwamena.
