Ghanaian journalists have been left stranded at the FA secretariat in Accra ahead of the highly anticipated announcement of the FIFA Normalisation Committee.
Hoards of local journalists are seething with rage as the main entrance to the venue has been closed.
Officials of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Ghana Police Service are in full flight as the door to the FA is opened for the first time in four months.
Chairman of the FIFA/ CAF Liaison team Dr Kofi Amoah, who is believed to be a member of the five-man Normalisation team, has arrived at the venue.
There have been no explanation for the delayed press conference as journalists have been made to look for shelter amid the high temperature.
These are frenetic times for Ghana football and the large number of journalists who have thronged the FA secretariat underlines the importance of Thursday’s eagerly awaited presser.
