Deportivo Alavés midfielder Mubarak Wakaso has the second highest ball retention rate in the Spanish La Liga, in what have been an explosive start to the season.
Statistics have shown the Ghanaian has recovered 28 times and tied with Atlético Madrid Saúl Ñíguez, with the pair behind Girona winger Pedro Porro.
Wakaso, 28, has shown tremendous intensity and ability to work at the heart of the park.
However, the disciplinary record of the Ghana international is not flattering after receiving several yellow cards in the process.
