Striker Abednego Tetteh got off a flying start for his new club Real Kashmir by scoring a brace in the 6-1 win over Shillong Lajong FC on Tuesday in the Indian second-tier.
The former Bechem United star opened the scoring in the 26th minute after an assist from Ivorian Gnohoré Krizo but Samuel Kynshi equalized for the visitors two minutes later.
Real Kashmir took the lead in the 37th minute when American Mason Robertson found the back of the net.
Before the break, it was three-one for the home side courtesy Nagen Tamang.
Krizo converted a penalty after 50 minutes to make it 4-1 and then Surchandra Singh was also on target for Real Kashmir.
Tetteh competed the demolition exercise with an 83rd minute goal.
Real Kashmir are third on the Indian I-League table after seven matches with 13 points; four behind leaders Chinnai City.
