Ghanaian defender Enock Kwateng has reiterated his desire to serve French club Nantes for a long time.
The 21 year old, who has been with the club since his youth career to to the senior level revealed his main priority is to stay at the club despite interests from some European heavyweights.
The defender has been in top form season, playing 15 games already in the French Ligue 1.
"It was my dream to play so much. It must continue. Defenders are less likely to enter the game than offensive players. You often have to wait for a suspension or an injury," he said.
"I leave it to my representative to take care of this because I do not want to take my head while a busy schedule awaits us. My priority is to stay at FC Nantes. But I just want to be considered a pro player, not like a kid going up. "
Kwateng, who has had an amazing relationship with manager Vahid Halilhodži? spoke highly of the Bosnian.
"I am only 21. But that changed with Vahid Halilhodzic,” the defender said.
“At first, I was a little scared. He knows how to laugh while being uncompromising in the work. We need that.
“With him, I progress, he trusts me and I have stats: a decisive pass, many more balloons intercepted ... He speaks to me as my father could do. And I play even if Fabio can play. My extension may also depend on his future. "
