Schlupp hails 'special' win over Manchester City

Jeffrey Schlupp has hailed Crystal Palace special performance against Manchester City in the English Premier League over the weekend.

Schlupp, 26, was on target for the Eagles as they beat the champions 3-2 at the Etihad stadium.

Ilkay Gündo?an strode through a static defence to reach Delph’s cross and beat Vicente Guaita with a firm header to open the scores for the home side.

But Palace pulled parity from a magnificent equalizer from Ghana international Jeffrey Schlupp on 33 minutes.

And versatile Jeff Schlupp has hailed the side's 'special' performance.

“It was a special performance, to come to a club like Manchester City is never easy and I feel we fully deserved the three points, said Schlupp as he spoke after the match and revealed that the side were intent on going into the game with a firm belief in their mind."
