Coach Charles Kwablan Akunor has handed players of Asante Kotoko a three day break after qualifying for the group stages of the CAF Confederations Cup.
The Porcupine Warriors reach the group stages after dispatching Cameroonian champions Coton Sport de Garoua 5-3 on aggregate.
It is the first time since 2008, that the record Ghana Premier League champions have made it to this stage of the competition.
The players were given three days off to rest and will return on Friday to begin preparations for the group phase of the continent's second tier competition.
Asante Kotoko have been paired with Zambian clubs Zesco United and Nkana FC as well as Sudanese giants Al Hilal Omdurman.
The Kumasi based outfit will navigate their way through the group stages with a trip to Sudan to face Al Hilal on February 3rd.
