Bechem United goalkeeper Benjamin Asiedu has vowed to keep his head down after his outstanding display against Medeama SC in the Ghana Premier League.
The goalkeeper was in the post for the Hunters on Saturday in their Week 11 fixture in the 2025/26 Ghanaian top-flight league campaign.
In a game played at the TnA Stadium, Benjamin Asiedu was among the standout players, making some impressive saves that earned Bechem United a crucial point at the end of the contest.
Speaking in his post-match interview, the goalkeeper assured fans that he will continue to work hard to avoid complacency, ensuring he gives his best to the team in upcoming matches.
“I’m proud of myself. I will keep my head down and continue working hard in the upcoming games. I don’t want to be complacent,” Asiedu said.
Despite his standout performance in the pulsating contest, the Bechem United goalkeeper missed out on the Man of the Match award.
Although disappointed, Asiedu said he respects the decision to give the award to Medeama SC midfielder Salim Adams.
“I’m disappointed, but I respect the decision. Although I didn’t win the Man of the Match, I’m not disappointed with my performance,” the goalkeeper said.
