Benedicte Simon handed Black Queens debut for International Friendly against England

Black Queens head coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren has named a strong starting lineup for tonight’s high-profile international friendly against the England Lionesses, with defender Benedicte Simon handed her senior debut.

Cynthia Konlan Fiindib starts in goal, marshalled by a defensive unit led by captain Portia Boakye and Susan Ama Duah.

Newcomer Benedicte Simon steps into the backline for her first appearance in Ghana’s colours, joining Comfort Yeboah and the experienced defensive heads around her.

In midfield, Ghana will rely on the tenacity and organisation of Jennifer Cudjoe, Stella Nyamekye, and Grace Asantewaa.
