The entertainment lineup for the 2026 World Cup draw in Washington DC will feature a blend of global music icons, with American disco legends Village People and British singer Robbie Williams among the confirmed performers.
Village People are expected to deliver their classic hit “YMCA,” a song that has enjoyed renewed visibility in recent years due to its frequent use at political rallies in the United States. Williams, known for a long list of chart-topping singles, will also take to the stage as part of the ceremony.
The draw, which will determine the group pairings for the 48 competing nations, is scheduled for Friday at the Kennedy Center from 17:00 GMT (12:00 local time). Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, who performed during Leicester City’s Premier League title celebrations in 2016, will also appear, along with vocalist Nicole Scherzinger.
Supermodel and television personality Heidi Klum and comedian Kevin Hart will serve as co-hosts, while actor and producer Danny Ramirez will conduct interviews with guests.
The 2026 World Cup will take place from 11 June to 19 July, co-hosted by the United States, Mexico and Canada.
