Herbalife Ghana has announced a new nutrition partnership with LA Galaxy and Ghana international Joseph Paintsil’s JP Academy to support youth football development through sports and proper nutrition.
The initiative was unveiled at a press briefing held at Herbalife Ghana’s offices at Airport Square in Accra.
Under the partnership, Herbalife Ghana will serve as the Official Nutrition Partner of JP Academy and its affiliated teams. The programme will provide structured nutrition education and products aimed at supporting the growth and development of young footballers.
Speaking at the launch, Clarence Amenyah, Senior Manager, Country Sales for Herbalife Ghana, said the collaboration is focused on promoting sports development and nutrition among young people.
Paintsil also welcomed the initiative, saying the partnership demonstrates a commitment to grassroots football development in Ghana.
The programme builds on Herbalife’s existing relationship with LA Galaxy, where the company serves as the club’s official nutrition partner.
Through the initiative, players at JP Academy will receive guidance on key areas including nutrition, hydration and recovery to support athletic performance.
As part of the activities, Herbalife Ghana and Paintsil also visited Potter’s Village in Dodowa, where they donated nutrition products and essential supplies.
The partnership aims to strengthen youth development while promoting healthy lifestyles among young athletes.
