In Accra, ten times champions Accra Hearts of Oak will battle it out with Division One debutants Danbort FC whilst Medeama take on Amidaus at the Tarkwa T and A park.
Meanwhile in the Northern Zone, eight times champions Asante Kotoko will host division club NEA Salamina. Elsewhere up there in Wa at the Malik Jabir, Wa All stars will lock horns Berekum Chelsea.
Speaking at the venue of the draw Chairman of the MTN FA Cup committee Kurt Okraku noted that the games will be played on 29 and 30th of July.
Kurt also took the opportunity to reiterate his utmost displeasure with respects to the 12 July tragedy that threw the nation into mourning following Asante Kotoko's accident. In furtherance he stated that this year's game will be played in honor of Kofi Asare, Kotoko's equipment officer who died in the accident.
For the quarter finals stage, clubs going away will take away GHC 5,000 cedis as preparation bonus whilst clubs playing at home will earn GHC 4,000 cedis as preparation fees and 25% of gate proceeds.
The eight clubs will receive MTN recharge cards each to be distributed to the entire team whilst the best players at the each game will also walk away with MTN recharge cards.
