Nii Adjei has been in fine form for the 5-time CAF Champions league winners, scoring the winning goal in their latest triumph in the CAF Confederation cup.
But the former Kotoko captain has been consistently overlooked by Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah in national team selections.
“To get a call up to the Black Stars will be a plus. But it’s not something I’m obsessed with to the extent that if I don’t get a call up, I will be worried. No.
“The most important thing for me is to continue to work hard for my team so I can always keep my position,” he told Class FM in an interview.
Nii Adjei has enjoyed tremendous success since joining TP Mazembe from Kotoko in 2013.
He has won the CAF Champions league, two CAF Confederation Cup titles, one CAF Super Cup title, and four Congolese league titles with TP Mazembe since he joined the team in 2013. Read Full Story
