Schlupp, following his impressive display in the midweek win over Watford, maintained his starting place and did put up a solid performance to help the Eagles continue their surge up the premier league table.
According to whoscored.com, Schlupp was the fourth best player on the field with a rating of 8.4.
Christian Benteke cost Palace victory when he missed an injury-time penalty he was not supposed to take last weekend, but the striker redeemed himself with a first-half header from Andros Townsend’s cross – his first goal of the campaign before Zaha and Sako added second and third goals respectively.
And Schlupp couldn't hide his excitement after the game. He tweeted: ''
Great result against a strong team! Fans were amazing as always! Also nice to be back at the KP stadium and getting such a great reception ''
Palace, after a terrible start to the season - no wins in first seven games - have improved massively and now occupy the 14th position.
