Dr Kwaku Frimpong vows to revive AshGold

Co-new investor of AshantiGold Dr Kwaku Frimpong is determined to make the club regain its status as a continental giant.

The bussinessman, who owns Champion Divine Clinic, has partnered Kenneth Boakye Acheampong of Achiken FC to save the financially-stricken club.

The new investors have been introduced to the club and handle the day-to-day administration of the Obuasi-based side.

''It's true that we are the new owners of AshGold and we have plans to make things work again but I can only talk to you about my plans after February 28 when everything is sealed,'' Frimpong told Graphic Sports.
