Paa Kwesi Fabin impressed with Kotoko performance against WAFA

Asante Kotoko coach, Paa Kwesi Fabin, has expressed his delight over his side’s performance against WAFA in the first game of the 2018 Ghana Premier League.

Kotoko came from a goal down to draw 1-1 with the Academy Boys at the Red Bull Arena on Sunday.

Aminu Mohammed’s scored WAFA’s first goal in the 3rd minute, but Kotoko pulled even in the 19th minute courtesy Takubu Mohammed.

“It was a very good game. WAFA still have a very good team, they played well but we came up with a strategy to leave here with the three points,” he said after the game.

“Even though we drew we are happy with the result, we’ll go back to the drawing board and work harder to win our subsequent games.”

“Fortunately for me I’ve not lost a game here before. I led inter Allies to draw here and also Berekum Arsenal, so when I was coming here I was very confident we’re going to take the three points. Our attack was a little bit slow and that cost us the win.” Read Full Story
