The University of Ghana has notified its workers that salaries will delay because of lack of funds in their coffers and this may be replicated in other government funded universities after it emerged their subventions hadn’t reached them.
University of Ghana borrowed from Internally generated funds to pay for January and February salaries but cannot afford to do so in March.
On the back of this, Kofi Adams is blaming mismanagement.
Speaking at the swearing in of new executives at the Koforidua Technical University chapter of TEIN over the weekend, the NDC National Organizer called on government to sit up.
