First Sky Bitumen Processing Limited is also expected to produce world class bitumen in the West African sub-region.
Speaking at the 16th Anniversary Celebration in Accra on Sunday, 13 January, 2019, the Executive Chairman of the group, Eric Seddy Kutortse reiterated the company’s commitment to continue work within the confines of the law and also abide by sound business practices.
“Contrary to general perception that private businesses are only profit driven individuals who seek to enrich themselves, this company is founded on sound Christian principles and operates within the laws of the country.”
He explained that First Sky Group since its inception sixteen years ago has never been involved in any scandalous or corrupt practices that seek to short change the nation.
“This is not to say we have also not been exposed to such temptations but for the love of our nation Ghana and for the fear of the Lord and for our salvation we have kept away from these evil practices”.
He recalled that four years during the company’s annual thanksgiving he made some statements that “we have a stainless record on corruption”.
“This attracted the attentions of anti-corruption agencies in Ghana and revenue agencies in Ghana which investigated our company for five years and thanks be to God nothing has been found.
The group has over years donated millions of cedis to support the treatment of patients with kidney failure at the Renal Dialysis Unit of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in line with its Corporate Social responsibilities.
It has also donated 2 million cedis towards the construction of the National Cathedral.
