Acheampong Elshadai scored the opener in the 11th minute while Sandra Atinga added another one to give Kumasi Sports Academy a 2-0 lead before recess.
From recess, Felicity Asante pulled one back for Supreme Ladies but Elshadai increased the tally for Kumasi Sports Academy in the 57th minutes. In the 70th minute the visitors scored a second goal courtesy Tracy Twum’s strike.
At the Valley View Park, giants Ampem Darkoa defeated Northern Ladies 2-1 in their opening Group B match. Black Queens player Grace Asantewa scored the first goal in the 20th minute before Ophelia added the second one to seal the victory for Ampem Darkoa.
The story was not different at the Teshie MATS Park as Police Ladies walloped Halifax Ladies 1-0. Striker Joanitta Aguade scored the only goal in the 15th minute to help Police Ladies stamp their authority on Halifax.
Elsewhere at the Saint Aquinas School Park, Samaria Ladies recorded a 2-1 victory over Immigration Ladies in a match which drew a sizable crowd.
