The lecture, organised by the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences will take place at their premises on May 30, 2019 at 5:30pm.
M.anifest will be speaking on the topic “Re-imagining us: the role of popular music in self-actualisation.”
M.anifest, son of Ghanaian lawyer and academic Tsatsu Tsikata holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Macalester College in the United States of America.
He has established his brand with a style of rap the fuses English, pidgin and Twi with afro rhythms.
M.anifest brand evinces a true blend of afrocentric and eclectic arts.
Some of his songs are ‘god MC,’ ‘Me Ne Woa,’ ‘Sugar’, ‘Be My Woman’, Some Way Bi,’ among others.
