CAF Confed Cup: We are going for a win – Ashgold CEO

Ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup game against Akonangui FC of Equatorial Guinea, President of Ashantigold Dr Kweku Frimpong has stated his outfit are going all out for a win on Saturday.

According to him, Ashantigold is the best club in Ghana currently and they are not going to disappoint Ghanaians in Equatorial Guinea.

“Our preparations are going smoothly. We will travel God willing tomorrow to Equatorial Guinea. We are going for a win not even a draw.

“We have watched them and hopefully will be coming with a win.

“We are the best club in Ghana right now and we are not going to disappoint Ghanaians”. He told Light FM Sports

The Miners will leave the shores of Ghana on Wednesday via road to Togo before boarding airplane to Equatorial Guinea for the game on Saturday.
