Medeama SC striker Awudu Tahiru scored a brace to dispatched the East African country in a difficult game.
The striker scored two successful first-half goals which Ghana relied on to earn their first 3 points in Group B.
The 19-year-old found the back of the net after 16 minutes of play to put the Satellites in front before adding another just five minutes later with a brilliant goal.
Ghana, however, conceded a goal before the half time which derailed the Satellites dream of having a starting clean sheet.
The Black Satellites will lock horns with Senegal in their next game on Wednesday before facing Mali in the final Group game on August 24. Read Full Story
