Mrs Patience Agordzor in an interview on Adom FM’s morning show “Dwaso Nsem” Wednesday said two of their children who went to visit their father at the BNI on Tuesday broke down in tears after seeing distraught ACP Dr. Benjamin Agordzor was arrested.
She added that their female children who are in school keep calling to ask if their father will be okay or is going to be killed.
“Our children didn’t know what to say when they saw their father on Tuesday. They are so down that they cannot utter a word with the males crying like girls. The girls who are also in school called and began asking questions if their dad is going to be killed? It is very sad” she cried.
ACP Agordzoe who is the Director of Transformational Programme Office at the Ghana Police Service has been in the BNI custody since Monday and charged with abetment to commit treason on Monday.
At least 7 persons including a medical doctor and serving military personnel are facing trial for plotting to overthrow the Akufo-Addo-led government.
However, the devastated wife says the situation has made her weak and could not believe that her husband is being treated like a criminal.
