Lance Corporal Francisca Tengey, the police woman who was accidentally shot this morning by a Naval Raking has been discharged from the Tema General Hospital. According to sources that spoke to The Chronicle, Francisca Tengey who celebrated her birthday on Tuesday, this week, has been discharged from the hospital not because she has fully recovered, but the fear of contracting the deadly coronavirus.
A source close to her intimated to The Chronicle that she narrated how she saw the armed colleague tried to cork the rifle after discharging the pellet from the rifle, which hit her thigh. L/Cpl Tengey, is a personnel of the Tema Regional Office of the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU) but was deployed for Operation Covid-19. Meanwhile the Naval Rating is still in military detention.
