UnityLink Financial Services has donated GH¢200,000 into COVID-19 Special Fund and Personal Protection Equipment (PPEs) to the Ashanti Regional Health Directorate to fight the coronavirus pandemic.
Mr Richard Awuah, the representative of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of UnityLink Financial Services, at the presentation ceremony explained that the gesture was to contribute their quota to the fight against COVID-19. According to him, the donation will help equip the Health service providers and other frontline workers to save the lives.
He disclosed that the financial service had also donated PPE to Accra regional and GA East hospitals, Koforidua, Begoro, and Suhum in the Eastern region, Walewa in the Upper East region, Kintampo in the Bono East and Kumasi South and other treatment centres.
He indicated that items presented to the Ashanti regional health directorate includes Personal Protection (PP) Kits, Twelve Thousand and one hundred (12,100) hands gloves among others.
Dr. Douglas Mensah, Bono East Regional Health Director, at the presentation commended UnityLink Financial Services for the kind gesture.
