The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Zonda Tec Ghana, a light and heavy-duty vehicle assembly company in the country, has commended President Akufo-Addo for his concerns about investors.

According to her, the business-friendly policies put in place by the Akufo-Addo-led government are those that foreign investors in Ghana do appreciate.

She was addressing President Akufo-Addo at a surprise visit he paid to the company’s head office at Tema Community 25, in the Kpone Katamanso Municipality of the Greater Accra Region.

The surprised CEO, Madam Yang Yang, told the President that his visit had motivated staff of the company, describing nana Akufo-Addo as a promise keeper.

According to her, President Akufo-Addo, since assuming office, had made Ghana very attractive to investors. She then assured him that Ghana would continue to attract huge patronage from the investment community.

President Akufo-Addo, who was met at the entrance of the company and led into the facility, briefly told Mad Yang Yang that he went to Dawhenya, and on his return to Jubilee House, decided to pay the company a visit.

Madam Yang Yang, who was impressed with President Akufo-Addo’s commitment to the growth of the private sector, said: “Foreign investors appreciate the investor-friendly policies of your government.”

Briefing President Akufo-Addo on the operations of the company, Mad Yang Yang said they assemble heavy duty vehicles and train Ghanaians to be able to assemble them. She noted that even their drivers who are Ghanaians are able to fix their broken vehicles.

Madam Yang Yang said Zonda Tec Ghana Limited was committed to training the Ghanaian with up-to-date technology in vehicle maintenance, and the transfer of skills and technology to them.
