About One Hundred and Sixty-Eight new recruits of the Police Service have passed out in Kumasi at the Police Training School at Patase in Kumasi.
COP Kwasi Mensah Duku, Ashanti Regional Police Commander, cautioned the recruits to ensure professionalism in the discharge of their duties.
He also cautioned youth not to allow themselves to be used as puppets to foment troubles during the December polls.
He urged them to stay away from making trouble during the elections.
COP Kwasi Mensah Duku also called on political leaders not to offer their party and political identity to hooligans and criminals to enable them to commit their usual violence in the name of politics.
He said the police were ready to unmask and strip any mobster or fugitive off his or her political colouration and swiftly bring such individuals to answer for the very crimes they have committed without fear or favour.
