Ghana splurges $323m on HIV & AIDS
Ghana spent 323. 7 million United States Dollars (US$) on HIV and AIDS related activities over the last three years, the Ghana AIDS Commission (GAC) has disclosed. The total HIV and AIDS related expenditure for the years 2019, 2020, and 2021 stood at US$88,648,568, US$107,280,242 and US$127,828,300 respectively. Tarkwa MP fetes 500 widows on Boxing Day
THE Member of Parliament (MP) for Tarkwa Nsuaem in the Western Region, George Mireku Duker, on Monday, the Boxing Day, feted over 500 widows in the constituency. All the widows also went home with hampers and an undisclosed sums of money. MTN Ghana presents hampers to babies born on Christmas Day in Kumasi
MTN Ghana has presented hampers to mothers of 50 babies born on Christmas Day at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) and the Maternal and Child Health Care Centre in Kumasi. The gesture forms part of the telecommunication giant’s annual event to welcome the new born babies.
