Bank of Ghana To Restructure Short-Term Debt

The Bank of Ghana (BoG) will issue GH¢500 million ($264.6 million) worth of three-year government bonds on October 25 to restructure short-term debt, Finance Minister Dr. Kwabena Duffuor said in Accra.
"It's purely debt management and is targeted at restructuring our short-dated instruments such as the 91-day and 180-day bills," Dr. Duffuor told Reuters.
